We are excited to announce the availability of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) in the AWS Management Console. You can now add users to your AWS Account, set groups and permissions for these users, and enable users to call AWS Service APIs, all from a simple point-and-click browser interface.
We are also pleased to announce the General Availability of IAM. With the release of IAM User Login and the IAM console we believe that IAM provides AWS customers greater security, flexibility, and control when using AWS.
About AWS Identity and Access Management
AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a web service that enables easy management of access to AWS services and resources. With IAM, you can create users for each individual in your organization, assign users to groups, and set permissions controlling what actions users can perform with AWS services and applications such as Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, and the AWS Management Console. To get started with IAM, visit http://aws.amazon.com/iam.
