Amazon ElastiCache Launches Free Trial Program
AWS is introducing a limited time free trial program to help new Amazon ElastiCache customers get started. Customers eligible for the free trial will be able to run one free small Cache Node for sixty (60) days. The free trial is now available in all Regions.
Amazon ElastiCache improves the performance of your web applications by retrieving data from a fast, in-memory cache instead of relying entirely on disk-based storage. Unlike other caching mechanisms, Amazon ElastiCache is fully-managed so you don’t have to worry about maintaining your own caching infrastructure. In addition, it is Memcached-compatible, so if you have existing Memcached-enabled applications, they should work with ElastiCache without any code changes.
