A video that walks through how to customize an existing Amazon Machine Image (AMI).

Approximately 15 minutes.
The purpose of this tutorial is to walk thru customizing an existing AMI, or Amazon Machine Image, in order that you can understand what is involved before you try it yourself. We'll make a small change, then save the AMI as a private image for future use. The finished image will not be visible to anyone else, unless of course you choose to explicitly share it.
The video was created using Windows; however any operating system works the same, because the command line tools run under Java.
There's a short list of things that we won't cover in this video.
- This video will not show you how to create an AMI from scratch
- And it will not show you how to upload an image created locally on your PC
- We're assuming that you already watched the video on how to set up Amazon EC2.

Watch the video in the Windows Media format.
