We are excited to announce Amazon CloudSearch, a fully-managed search service in the cloud that allows customers to easily integrate fast and highly scalable search functionality into their applications. Amazon CloudSearch enables search functionality for your website or application without the administrative burdens of operating and scaling a search service. Built for high throughput and low latency, Amazon CloudSearch supports a rich set of features including free text search, faceted search, customizable relevance ranking, configurable search fields, text processing options, and near real-time indexing.

Elastic BeanStalk adds support for PHP with GIT integration, .net support and EU deployment options. In this session we'll introduce ElasticBeanstalk and describe how it can accelerate application deployments, particularly when developing and testing applications by removing the need to configure underlying infrastructure.

Amazon Web Services operate a shared responsibility model with our customers and hold many certifications for our global infrastructure, from ISO27001 to PCI DSS Level 1. Amazon CloudFront is a content distribution network that can significantly improve user experience when delivering web content. Amazon CloudFront can now deliver all of your content, including the dynamic portions of your site that change for each end-user. In this session we'll introduce two new additions to CloudFront: Dynamic Content Delivery and Media Streaming. CloudFront's support for dynamic content means personalised user content can be delivered via the same optimised delivery network as static content, with persistent connections to origin servers for the best possible end user experience. Additionally CloudFront's support for streaming media from Microsoft IIS and Flash Media Server extends the content delivery network to offer rich multimedia to users and mobile clients.

DDynamoDB is the latest high performance data storage service from Amazon Web Services. DynamoDB is a NoSQL, highly available and consistently high performance data storage service. NoSQL databases and consistent performance across data stores as data volumes increase is a growing issue for many companies. In this session we'll expand on the last event where we introduced the basics of DynamoDB. We'll discuss common uses of NoSQL versus traditional RDBMS or block storage, thoughts on data modelling and partitioning and using Cloud Watch to guide your DynamoDB scaling.
