Simple Savant is an object-persistence framework designed explicitly for Amazon SimpleDB and written in C#. It supports .NET-style parameterized selects; asynchronous operations; lexicographical date and number formats; integrated caching; full-text indexing and more.

Simple Savant extends the Amazon SDK for SimpleDB to provide the following features:

* Maps object properties to SimpleDB attributes
* Date and number formats that support lexicographical sorts and searches
* .NET-style parameterized selects
* Unlimited select results in a single call
* Integrated read/write caching
* Automatic domain creation
* Asynchronous operations
* Full-text indexing
* Attribute spanning and compression to store property values larger than SimpleDB 1024 byte limit
