S3Safe 1.0 looks good, works fine, still a bit unstable, uses standard aws access and secret keys like other S3 tools easy to upload, and make public urls, looks like Windows Explorer this is why i gave it 4 stars is that its missing automatic backup option and is a bit unstable, on both my systems (Laptop XP SP2 and Gaming Rig Vista x64 SP1) nice companion to maluke.com's S3 Backup, if you need to make some photos public

If all you want to do is copy files back-and-forth between your computer and AWS S3, you can not go wrong with S3Safe. The UI is an attractive Windows-standard interface with minimal options. If you can manipulate files with Windows Explorer, you can manipulate them with S3Safe. It is that simple! File compression and data encryption, if selected, are transparent. S3Safe is a nifty little app that does a simple job well. Documentation is admittedly scant, consisting of only a brief list of frequently asked questions. I have not needed more than that, however. Unless you require the features and complexity of more elaborate programs, I highly recommend S3Safe for simply moving files in and out of S3.

S3 Safe is simple to install, enter your details and away you go. Simple WYSIWYG interface, Similar to FTP interface, drag and drop folders or individual files. Shows upload transfer progress. A great tool S anybody wanting to use S storage.

I can't even get it to launch or give me an error message why it won't launch...no documentation on how to fix the issue...

Simple installation, program does exactly what it says it's going to do and does it very well. Users of visual FTP clients will be up and running quickly. Clean interface. Status/log windows are a very nice touch. Wish list for future versions: - Shell integration (e.g. "Send to S3 ..." in context menu) - Synchronization/incremental backup feature - Alternately, an installable file system version, so existing backup programs can be used Nice job, amazon should make this their standard Windows client!

I have used S3Safe to transfer a large number of fairly large files to S3 which it has done efficiently and reliably. Product support has been excellent, I made several suggestions for new features all of which were implemented in a very reasonable time period. Bob Palin Fremont River Software

I have been using S3 since BETA. I had a very minor problem when in BETA but support got it resolved immediately. I am very impressed with the product support. S3Safe works great. Makes it very easy to store my files offsite and know that they are protected. I highly recommend this application. Keep up the good work...

I've been using S3Safe since it came out in beta, and I'm very pleased with it. I've been trying out other tools/services which store things on S3, and I've even got a few, home-grown scripts which put stuff into my buckets. What I need S3Safe for is to have one tool that I can use to easily look at (and modify) everything in my buckets at S3. Tools like JungleDisk, which I like, can only see the objects they put on S3. So objects in other buckets are "invisible" to them. S3Safe sees everything on S3. I have access to two accounts at S3, and S3Safe handles that situation gracefully as well: I can see all object in both accounts at the same time. The developer of S3Safe has been very responsive to bugs and issues. Every time I'm had a issue, he's responded with a fix within a day. I'll continue to use several programs to put and fetch data on S3, but I'm definitely using S3Safe to see everything at once. Nice job.

Installs fine (on admin account, not on per-person level), seems to require a fully set up S3 account to access, but since it asks for the secret key I'm a little reticent to attach a credit card to my test account at this time... Online help missing. Product seems launched too soon or secretive at best. Interesting and intuitive interface otherwise. If it does what it seems to do it would be nice. At present my account verification fails, perhaps because I did not add a credit card? I would not recommend installing ituntil the author clears up some of these issues.

Mainly they forgot to tell you how to make it work. Drag and drop doesn't work. I suppose it has to be registered for it to work but they seem to have forgotten to tell you how to register. Web page, help, about box: all devoid of clues as to how to register User interface: 3 stars - simple and clean. Functionality : -2 stars - wasting my time.
