What if nobody had to buy, maintain or even know about the server sharing the data-- but your project management solution could still be share data and be secure, reliable and scalable? It would be a great way to collaborate on a project. We use Amazon S3 to fulfill this need. Because its available to anyone with an internet connection, you no longer need to worry about a server. This means no server URLs, special logins and passwords to forget, issues from outside firewalls, expensive hardware or server licenses to purchase, user accounts to manage, availability to worry about, etc... Just name your project and share it!

Lots of bang for buck, easy to use
After reviewing options like eProject and MS Project Server (for which I could get a cheap academic license), I ran into Intelligantt Plus at the last minute. It combines the best of both worlds. It's simple to use and has most of the tools we need. Our project members are in 7 countries so the ability to share and collaborate is crucial. The integration with SharePoint is excellent, simple to use, works flawless. With the soon to come upgrade, it will be even better. And if you don't know Sharepoint, an awesome tool to share info. Maybe best of all, for those who hate to read manuals, I got up and running with IntelliGantt Plus and Sharepoint (hosted service) within a day. Unlike the others out there, you can actually try it out for free (not just a Powerpoint-like demo). Highly recommended!
