We are pleased to announce that AWS Marketplace now supports IAM users and permissions, enabling you to have fine-grained control for how your IAM users buy and run AWS Marketplace software.

With today’s announcement you can control which IAM users can purchase and launch software according to their specific role in your business using familiar IAM tools, such as the AWS Management Console, CLI or IAM APIs. To make this easier, we’ve provided templates for common configurations in the policy generator. Jeff Barr explores this in detail in his latest post on the AWS Blog.

To see more software, visit the AWS Marketplace Home Page. To learn more about IAM User access, please read Enabling IAM Users in the AWS Marketplace and then visit the IAM Console to get started.
