If you’re interested in exploring new ways to optimize your Amazon EC2 costs and shaping the future of Amazon EC2 Spot Instances, we encourage you to apply to Spot Labs. As a member of Spot Labs, you will have access to Spot private betas and direct access to a private forum with the development team where you can solicit support for Spot instances, help shape the direction of private beta features, and suggest future feature improvements.
We are currently running a private beta of Spot Notifications, a feature that sends you notifications via Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) for Spot Instance provisioning events. This frequently requested feature may help your system automatically manage the Spot Instance provisioning lifecycle. More Spot private beta features are currently under development and not all will be publicly announced, so we encourage you to apply to Spot Labs to be able to see what is in the pipeline and start using private betas when they are available to members.
To apply, please e-mail us at ec2-spot-labs@amazon.com. In your e-mail, please describe your existing or potential Spot use case and what Spot features you’d like introduced. (Note: Spot Labs enrollment is limited, participation requires consent to additional terms, and we will not be able to accept all applications.)
If you have questions about Spot Labs or Spot Instances, please e-mail us at spot-instance-feedback@amazon.com.
