It is built on top of Amazon’s reliable and scalable payments infrastructure and provides developers with a convenient way to charge Amazon’s tens of millions of customers (with their permission, of course!). Amazon customers can pay using the same login credentials, shipping address and payment information they already have on file with Amazon.
With this release, we are also launching Amazon FPS Quick Starts, a set of simplified APIs that ease integration while maintaining the flexibility of Amazon FPS. Amazon FPS Quick Starts aggregate various Amazon FPS APIs into a simplified set of APIs that accelerate development time by significantly reducing the number of calls required to implement an Amazon-FPS based solution.
