Amazon Simple Email Service Announces Domain Verification

Posted on: May 15, 2012

We are excited to announce that Amazon Simple Email Service (Amazon SES) now supports domain verification. Now, instead of needing to verify each email address you want to send from, you can simply verify your entire domain and send from any email address on it.

You can verify any domain in the Amazon SES tab of the AWS Management Console, or you can verify domains via the API. You can use whichever method works best for you. This feature is also integrated with Amazon Route 53 so that you can verify any domain you manage with Amazon Route 53 with a few clicks of your mouse.

To make Amazon SES even easier to use, we have also expanded the number of verified email addresses and domains that you can have in your account from 100 to 1,000.

We encourage you to try this new feature today, and let us know what you think by visiting the Amazon SES forum. For more information, please refer to the Amazon SES Developer Guide.
