AWS CodeDeploy Supports On-Premises Instances

Posted on: Apr 2, 2015

You can now use AWS CodeDeploy with on-premises instances. CodeDeploy is a service that automates code deployments to instances. CodeDeploy makes it easier for you to rapidly release new features, helps you avoid downtime during deployment, and handles the complexity of updating your applications. Previously, you could only deploy code to Amazon EC2 instances. Now, you can use CodeDeploy to consistently deploy your application across your development, test, and production environments on any instance including instances running in your own data centers (your instances will need to have the CodeDeploy agent installed and be able to connect to AWS public endpoints).

You pay $0.02 per on-premises instance update using AWS CodeDeploy; there are no minimum fees and no upfront commitments. Click here for full pricing details.
