Software Development Engineers - Test

We truly believe that extensive automated testing is critical for successful software systems. In this role, you will work very closely with our software engineers to build frameworks that effectively test every aspect of our system. You will be expected to come up with innovative ways to automate testing for functionality, performance, and security. You will be the customer advocate who ensures that quality is never compromised. Your input will have direct influence on our release schedule and task priorities. To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for high quality software as well as test automation.

Quality Assurance Engineers

In this role, you will work very closely with our software engineers and software test engineers to ensure that our software is thoroughly tested. You will be expected to build test plans that exercise even the most esoteric code paths. You will be responsible for writing tests cases for automation as well as running manual tests. You know you are a good fit for this role if you really enjoy finding bugs in software. To be successful in this role, you need to be creative and have a very strong sense of ownership and customer focus.

Security Engineers

Amazon Silk fundamentally changes the way customers use the Internet. In this role, you will work with software engineers to architect complex systems that are air tight. You will be responsible for identifying attack vectors, fixing security vulnerabilities, and coming up with innovative ways to provide the most secure web browsing experience to our customers. Applicants for this role should be industry experts in Internet and network security and have a passion for working in a fast-paced and product-oriented environment.
