Software Development Engineers

As an Amazon CloudWatch software engineer you will help pioneer the way the world builds and operates software while owning delivery of features and services from beginning to end. We are looking for developers to help us create solutions to some of the most challenging technical problems in the industry: automating the scaling of applications that grow from zero to enormous; making it easy for customers to capture, visualize, and make sense of massive amounts of data about their systems; and running a large distributed system at hyper-growth. We are very passionate about quality, high-scale design and move quickly while having fun. You will design, implement, launch, and support your ideas. Your input into every part of the product, from user interface to the data layer, is not only desired but critical to the delivery process. In a small team and fast-moving environment, you have the ability to turn your ideas into real-world products that customers use every day. You will be constantly learning from other developers, senior managers, architecture experts in distributed cloud computing, and peers across Amazon Web Services.

We are looking for passionate, experienced software developers to join us and help define and deliver high quality solutions to expand our features and continue to scale our operations. You will fit right in if you have a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems. You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is very customer-centric, and feels strongly not only about building good software but about making it achieve its goals in operational reality. Software Development Managers

As a Software Development Manger within Amazon Web Services (AWS) you will be you will be constantly expanding the boundaries of how customers understand and interact with their applications in the AWS cloud. You will take ownership for product definition and have a hands-on role growing the business, working closely with customers and other AWS teams to ensure we deliver the right customer experience. You must be passionate about both user experience and API design. To succeed in this role, you must be dedicated about the customer experience for AWS users, successful at driving strategy and direction of a high-scale product, and have a strong track record of leading software teams to delivery and business growth.
