Storing, Analyzing and Sharing Genomic Data in the Cloud

A Workshop on Genomics and Cloud Computing

Amazon Web Services (AWS) offers researchers in academia and industry with a scalable, cost-effective, flexible and secure cloud computing platform. This platform is being increasingly leveraged by organizations and research labs that face the challenge of managing, analyzing and sharing increasingly large volumes of data being generated by the latest genome sequencing platform.

We invite you to join us on June 8, 2010 at the brand new Amazon.com campus in Seattle, WA to discuss the benefits and challenges of using cloud computing to store, analyze and share genomic data at scale.

June 8, 2010

Registration for this event is now closed. Thank you for your interest.
At this workshop, you will get a chance to:
  • Learn about best practices for cloud deployments and the latest trends in distributed computing
  • See examples of how organizations are leveraging Amazon Web Services for managing and analyzing genomic data
  • Provide your thoughts and experiences with genomics in the cloud so that we can evolve AWS to better serve the genomics research community
