This stack provides a pre-loaded Ubuntu server with Apache HTTPD and Apache Tomcat. It includes Apache HTTPD 2.2 and Apache Tomcat 7.0 on Ubuntu 12.04.

Apache Tomcat is a JSP/Servlet container developed by the Apache Software Foundation. Sun chose Tomcat as the reference implementation of the JSP and Servlet specifications. Apache HTTPD Server is provided to use as a front end proxy.
