Amazon CloudFront Overview and Live Streaming Demo

Details: In the first hour of this session, we will explore Amazon CloudFront – AWS’s content delivery network (CDN). Amazon CloudFront lets you deliver your content through a worldwide network of edge locations and automatically routes end-user requests to the closest edge location, so content is delivered with the best possible performance. In this session, we will describe what the CloudFront service is, go over the benefits it provides to you and your customers, demo how the CloudFront service works, and finally, we’ll highlight some use cases describing how the CloudFront service is used by customers in the media & entertainment industries. In the second hour of this session, we will present two product demos: (1) Live HTTP streaming using Amazon CloudFront with Adobe Flash Media Server 4.5, and (2) Live Smooth Streaming using Windows Media Services and Amazon CloudFront. With each solution, you can easily and cost-effectively deliver your live events over HTTP to multiple platforms and a world-wide audience.
