The Alexa Site Thumbnail web service provides developers with programmatic access to thumbnail images for the home pages of millions of web sites. Many of the Internet's leading web sites have learned that displaying thumbnail images improves user experience and click-throughs by allowing end users to preview sites before clicking on the thumbnail's associated link. This web service allows developers to enhance web sites, search results, web directories, and other web real estate by adding thumbnail images from Alexa's already large and growing collection of images.
