This is a significant upgrade of Amazon FPS and PayNow Widgets.It includes several new features, has improved throughput, and resolvesseveral long-standing issues. Even though the WSDL version has not changed, there are minor updates to the WSDL and you should get the updates to take advantage of the new features.

| Soft Descriptor Customizations |
Soft Descriptor Customizations allow you to create your own static or dynamic strings that appear on a customer's credit card statement. In addition, you can determine whether the caller or recipient customer service number appears on the customer's statement. |
| Instant Payment Notification |
Instant Payment Notification sends HTTP POST notifications to a URL that you specify. Notifications are sent for asynchronous transactions (success, failure, temporarily declined), just as they are for GetResults and web service notifications. Additionally, you can use IPN in conjunction with polling (GetResults) or web service notifications. IPN supports HTTP and HTTPS protocols. |
