You can now create, delete, and manage objects and buckets in Amazon S3 using the AWS Management Console. Amazon S3 now supports the path-style syntax for any bucket in the US Standard Region, or if the bucket is in the same Region as the endpoint of the request. Amazon S3 now supports a region-specific endpoints for EU: http://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com and https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com.

Feature Description

Console support

You can now create, delete, and manage objects and buckets in Amazon S3 using the AWS Management Console. For more information, go to the Amazon S3 Getting Started Guide, Amazon S3 Console User Guide, or the AWS Management Console.

Path style syntax

Amazon S3 now supports the path-style syntax for any bucket in the US Standard Region, or if the bucket is in the same Region as the endpoint of the request.

New endpoint supported for EU

Amazon S3 now supports a region-specific endpoints for EU: http://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com and https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com.
