New Feature

The following table describes the new feature in this release.

Feature Description

Response Header API Support

The GET Object REST API now enables you to set the response headers that are returned to a REST GET Object request. That is, you can alter a subset of the HTTP Headers in the response, without altering the object itself. By providing a response header and value, you can customize each user's download experience without having to upload the object again or maintain multiple copies. For more information, go to Uploading Objects in to Amazon S3.
