Known Issues

IssueDescription

User cannot log in to AWS console, portal, or forum

Users created through IAM can't sign in or take advantage of AWS properties such as the AWS Management Console or the developer forums. The AWS Account owner can create all the required credentials for Users to sign in, but the console, portal, and forum are currently unable to recognize Users. Users can interact with the supported AWS product APIs, but only the AWS Account owner can interact with all AWS features.

The ability for a User to sign into the management console and manage AWS Services will be supported in an upcoming release.

The AWS-wide policy key aws:SecureTransport is not recognized by EC2

EC2 will not correctly accept requests coming in over SSL if the AWS- wide policy key aws:SecureTransport has been defined in the access policy. The call will fail and be closed.
