Introducing the Amazon Simple Notification Service. This is the initial public beta release.
||Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS) is a web service that enables applications, end-users and other devices to send and receive notifications from the cloud. The potential uses for Amazon SNS include monitoring applications, workflow systems, time-sensitive information updates, and mobile applications.

||For the initial public beta, Amazon SNS limits the number of topics that each AWS account can have. There is a maximum of 100 topics per AWS account.
