Amazon CloudWatch now supports the new US-West (Northern California) Region. The new endpoint is https://monitoring.us-west-1.amazonaws.com.
Users should download the new version of the command line tools from
http://developer.amazonwebservices.com/connect/kbcategory.jspa?categoryID=88.
The previous version of the command line tools will continue to work, but will use the legacy naming convention for the endpoints.
