Feature Description
Support for Amazon CloudWatch metrics Amazon Elastic MapReduce now records metrics and displays them in the Amazon EMR console and in the Amazon CloudWatch console. Using Amazon CloudWatch, you can set alarms to warn you if a metric goes outside of parameters you specify. For more information, go to Monitoring Job Flow Metrics.
