Meet the Speakers

Mike Culver joined the Developer Relations Group of Amazon Web Services in 2006. He brings with him fifteen years of technology leadership experience, including five years working as a Group Program Manager for Microsoft. Mr. Culver has a strong background running an IT organization, with over a decade of experience in the U.S. Electrical Wholesale Distribution industry. As a Web Services Evangelist at Amazon, he helps developers take advantage of disruptive technologies that change the way the industry thinks about computer applications, and the way that businesses compete.
Mike Culver

Bill Hodak is a Senior Product Manager in the Server Technologies organization at Oracle Corporation. Bill leads the Product Management responsibilities for Oracle’s Cloud Computing initiatives, including Oracle’s collaborative relationship with Amazon Web Services. In addition to Cloud Computing, Bill has Product Management responsibilities for key Oracle Database technologies, such as Advanced Compression, Database Resource Manager, and Oracle Direct NFS Client. Prior to joining Oracle, Bill spent nearly 10 years in various technical and management roles involving the development and management of Oracle Database solutions.
