Meet the Speaker

Shakil Langha is the Lead Business Development Manager for Amazon RDS and ElastiCache. In this role, he helps develop and implement strategy to grow the addressable market for Amazon’s managed cloud databases. Shakil works with Enterprises, SMB, and startups in communicating and implementing the vision of cloud computing. He also serves as the customer’s voice within the organization, guiding product features and roadmaps. Shakil has helped launch RDS Oracle and RDS SQL Server databases, and represented AWS at conferences and other public events. He has an extensive background in databases, distributed systems technologies and real-time computing.
