Ekabhi Enterprises recently came to Cirrhus9 to help them successfully implement a virtual data center that would be used on a global scale by the Chandaria Foundation, global charitable organization.
Ekabhi Enterprises shared with Cirrhus9 enthusiasm for the AWS platform. Understanding the need to set up a very flexible, dynamically scalable infrastructure, AWS was the natural choice.
Cirrhus9 set up the virtual data center for the project that contained Ubuntu 8.04 LTS based EC2 servers to produce the infrastructure needed. On top of the EC2 platform, they implemented a web server, email sever, a document management system, file storage, and a relational database.
Being used in a global setting, the configuration requires uptime that basically follows the sun and Cirrhus9 is able to deliver this thanks to AWS.
“With cost effectiveness playing a major role, the billing model that is provided by Amazon Web Services allowed our client to bring their configuration up much quicker than a traditional data center or co-location facility would have allowed at a considerably lower cost,” said Mike Michalik, CEO of Cirrhus9.
“Cirrhus9 require no accolades for their technical expertise but where they really impressed us was with their commitment in resolving technical issues. These are the kind of folks you need on your team,” stated Mihir Chandaria, President of Ekabhi Enterprises.
Cirrhus9 is based in San Diego and provides an east coast presence through their office in Massachusetts. To learn
