AWS Summit Berlin FAQs

Whether you’re an AWS enthusiast or a brand new user, there’s something for everyone at the AWS Summit Berlin. Our wide variety of sessions are designed to help all levels of AWS user connect, collaborate and learn.

All AWS Summits feature a keynote address highlighting the latest announcements and customer testimonials, technical sessions led by AWS engineers, and hands-on technical training. You will learn best practices for deploying applications on AWS, optimizing performance, monitoring cloud resources, managing security, cutting costs, and more. You will also have opportunities to meet AWS staff and partners to get your technical questions answered.

Due to high demand in previous years, we had to close registration for the AWS Summit Berlin early and not everyone who was interested could attend. We want to give more people the chance to attend the AWS Summit Berlin 2024. We therefore kindly request that you only register for one day of the AWS Summit Berlin. The program content will be duplicated across both days so that all attendees have a consistent experience.

AWS Summit Berlin 2024 has the same content program over both days. This does not apply to partner sessions.

At this time, we do not accept submissions for AWS Summit speakers or session content although we always appreciate customer feedback.

Registration for the AWS Summit Berlin is free.

AWS Summit Berlin registration gives you access to the keynote, all breakout sessions, the Partner Solutions Expo and closing reception. Drinks and meals offered during the day.

If you have registered, you should receive a confirmation email shortly after registering. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder. Once you have checked your spam folder, if you still haven't received your confirmation email, please contact us.

You may cancel your AWS Summit Berlin registration by contacting us.

Onsite at AWS Summit Berlin, sessions will be filled on a first-come first-seated basis. We recommend you use the AWS Summit Berlin mobile app to help organize your day, and allow plenty of time to navigate between rooms. Download the mobile app for Android or IOS.

For the keynote, there are only 3,000 seats in the Keynote Hall which will be filled at a first-come, first-seated basis. If you can't get a seat there, the keynote will be streamed in any of the breakout session rooms.

Registration opens at 08:00 on both event days, May 15th and May 16th 2024. Please arrive early to avoid waiting times.

To collect your AWS Summit Berlin event badge, you will need the QR code from your ticket email as well as a government issued photo ID. A reminder of this will be sent closer to the event.

You found something? Or lost anything? You will get any lost & found information at the AWS Helpdesk (located between Partner Expo and Keynote Hall).

Yes, you will find a wardrobe & luggage storage on site.

The AWS Events app will be available to download one week before the event and will allow you to view all sessions taking place, manage your calendar for the day of the event and more. More details will be share with registered attendees closer to the time.

The AWS Summit Berlin venue, STATION Berlin, has been designed to make everyone’s visit as productive and comfortable as possible. If you need additional assistance or have accommodation requests, please contact us at least one week prior to the event. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodations.

Vegetarian / Vegan options are labelled at lunch. Please ask us for gluten free, Halal or Kosher food options.

If you offer to have your badge scanned by a sponsor or at a sponsor-branded session, you are requesting AWS share your name, contact information, title, and company with that sponsor so it may contact you by email, phone, and post for marketing purposes. This is optional - you may choose not to offer your badge. For questions, please refer to the AWS Privacy Notice. Contact the sponsor to unsubscribe from the sponsor’s marketing communications. Providing the sponsor with your information may involve transferring it to another country. For questions about how the sponsor will handle your information, please contact the sponsor directly or refer to its privacy policy.

AWS expects all Summit participants (attendees, staff, speakers, sponsors, etc.) to behave in such a way as to create a safe, supportive environment while at the conference and any conference-related events. For more information read the full AWS Code of Conduct.
