AWS OpsWorks Now Supports Chef Automate With Integrated Compliance
AWS OpsWorks for Chef Automate now supports Chef Automate version 1.6.x, which includes Chef Automate with integrated compliance.
Previously, you could manually install Chef InSpec in order to run compliance-as-code solutions through Chef. Now, OpsWorks for Chef Automate supports integrated and continuous compliance, and you can view the results in a unified dashboard through compliance views in Chef’s UI. You can use profiles pre-packaged from Chef that support many industry benchmarks, such as PCI or HIPAA, or you can create profiles for your own custom requirements.
AWS OpsWorks for Chef Automate is available in US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), and EU (Ireland) public AWS regions.
