AWS Single Sign-On Now Supports AWS Command Line Interface Access

Posted on: Feb 22, 2018

Starting today, you can use AWS Single Sign-On (SSO) to enable users to find and get AWS Command Line Interface (CLI) credentials for multiple AWS accounts more easily.

Users can now sign in to the AWS SSO user portal with their existing corporate credentials and get AWS CLI credentials for all their assigned AWS accounts from one place. These AWS CLI credentials expire after 60 minutes automatically to help protect access to your AWS accounts.

AWS SSO is available in the US East (N. Virginia) Region.
