Posted on: Apr 2, 2020

AWS DeepComposer is now generally available to all AWS customers, with exciting new feature additions. AWS DeepComposer gives developers a creative way to learn machine learning. Get hands-on, literally, with a musical keyboard and the latest machine learning techniques, designed to expand your ML skills. AWS DeepComposer includes tutorials, sample code, and training data that can be used to build generative AI models, all without having to write a single line of code.

Generative AI is one of the exciting recent advancements in artificial intelligence technology because of its ability to create something new. From turning sketches into images for accelerated product development, to improving computer-aided design of complex objects, there are many practical applications emerging across industries. This Generative AI technique pits two different neural networks against each other to produce new and original digital works based on sample inputs. Until now, developers interested in growing skills in this area haven’t had an easy way to get started. With AWS DeepComposer, developers, regardless of their background in ML, can get started with Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), learning how to train and optimize them to create original music.

The following are the new features included in AWS DeepComposer console:

  • Learning Capsules: Learning capsules provide developers with tutorials to learn Generative AI in easy-to-consume, bite-size modules.
  • In-Console Training: A feature that enables developers to train their own generative models in the AWS DeepComposer console, without having to write a single line of machine learning code.
  • Rhythm Assist: A feature that aligns musical notes you play on the keyboard to the closest beat.

Get started with AWS DeepComposer keyboard to create a melody that will transform into a completely original song in seconds, all powered by AI. AWS DeepComposer keyboard is now available on amazon.com and is priced at $99. The pricing includes the keyboard and a 3-month free trial of AWS DeepComposer services. To activate your free trial, enter your keyboard serial number in the AWS DeepComposer console to link it to your AWS account.
