Amazon Connect Customer Profiles is a feature of Amazon Connect and automatically brings together customer information from multiple applications into a unified customer profile, delivered to agents at the beginning of the customer interaction. It now supports ingestion of customer data from homegrown and third- party applications with Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), in addition to existing pre-built connectors for third-party applications like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Zendesk, and Marketo.
This new feature allows companies to define data from any source using Amazon S3 and seamlessly enrich a customer profile without the need for custom data integrations or additional pre-built connectors. For example, purchase transaction data from an internal application can be imported into a spreadsheet file on Amazon S3 and linked to a customer profile to provide contact center agents with relevant purchase history information. Companies can now scale importing any type of data using Amazon S3 to build richer, more complete customer profiles, and equip contact center agents with relevant customer information to personalize customer service.
The Amazon S3 connector for Amazon Connect Customer Profiles is available in US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Europe (London), Europe (Frankfurt), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Singapore), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo).
