Amazon Translate is a fully managed neural machine translation service that delivers real-time, high-quality, affordable, and customizable language translation. Today, we are announcing that Amazon Translate now adds supports to the following languages and variants - Irish, Marathi, Portuguese Portugal, and Punjabi.

Now Amazon Translate supports a total of 75 languages and variants in 17 regions. With the launch of these languages, and continuous and rapidly accelerating innovation in quality and performance in Amazon Translate, AWS customers can reach a wider set of users that are increasingly expecting to consume media and interact with people and organizations in the language of their choice.

Amazon Translate supports translation between the following 75 languages: Afrikaans, Albanian, Amharic, Arabic, Armenian, Azerbaijani, Bengali, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Chinese (Simplified), Catalan, Chinese (Traditional), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dari, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, French Canadian, Georgian, German, Greek, Gujarati, Haitian Creole, Hausa, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Kazakh, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Malay, Malayalam, Maltese, Mongolian, Marathi, Norwegian, Farsi (Persian), Pashto, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese Portugal , Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Sinhala, Slovak, Slovenian, Somali, Spanish, Spanish Mexican, Swahili, Swedish, Filipino Tagalog, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Uzbek, Vietnamese, and Welsh.
