Amazon Web Services

AWS Graviton4, the latest and most powerful processor from Amazon, powers the new Amazon EC2 R8g instances. These instances offer 50% more cores and 75% more memory bandwidth compared to Graviton3, making them ideal for memory-intensive workloads. R8g instances provide up to 30% better performance and larger instance sizes, with three times more vCPUs and memory than Graviton3-based R7g instances. Customers like ClickHouse, Quiver, and SmugMug have reported significant performance improvements and better price-performance ratios when using R8g instances for their workloads.
