AWS Training & Certification recently announced enhancements to our AWS Certification digital badges, making it even easier to verify an individual’s earned certifications and to showcase your team’s certification achievements. This post is for APN Partners to learn about changes in how AWS Certification digital badges are verified, and to advise badge earners they will need to update their badge links before August 1, 2020, in order to continue sharing their digital badge.

AWS Service Delivery Partners pass a high technical bar in order to participate in the AWS Service Delivery Program. To achieve this designation, we validate APN Consulting Partners who have deep expertise with specific AWS services, such as AWS Lambda. Once in the program, AWS Service Delivery Partners receive core program benefits that increase visibility with customers, offer chances to engage with AWS service teams, and provide access to deeper learning events and opportunities related to AWS services.

The AWS SaaS Competency helps customers find top APN Consulting Partners with deep specialization and experience in designing and building SaaS solutions on AWS. Our Competency Partners follow AWS best practices for designing and building SaaS solutions through their professional services practices. To qualify for the AWS Competency designation, organizations have undergone rigorous technical validation by AWS Partner Solutions Architects and demonstrated proven customer success.

The Amazon RDS Ready Program makes it easy for AWS customers to find products and solutions that integrate with Amazon RDS database engines including Amazon Aurora, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle Database, and SQL Server. Amazon RDS Ready Partners provide tooling for Amazon RDS adoption in areas like migration, performance, governance, and monitoring. They also support the use of the Amazon RDS platform as a back-end for applications deployed within a customer’s AWS account.

The AWS Lambda Ready Program, part of the AWS Service Ready Program, makes it easy for customers to find developer tools and integrations that are validated by AWS serverless experts to work with AWS Lambda. Customers use AWS Lambda to focus on product innovation while enjoying faster time-to-market, without thinking about server management. With AWS Lambda, you can simply upload and run code with high availability and fault tolerance built in, paying only for the compute time you consume.
