To support the way we work today, we rely on apps and services that allow us to work together, and support the communication and collaboration needs of modern teams. Even though we have already seen lots of innovation in the area of business productivity, our customers tell us we still have a long way to go.

We’re building these services to help you meet the needs of a modern workforce – available from anywhere, anytime, on any device. We are transparent with pricing, and you only pay for what you use. And all our services are built on AWS, where security is our top priority. These services include Alexa for Business, Amazon Chime, Amazon WorkDocs, and Amazon WorkMail. Alexa for Business
Voice and the spoken word are the most natural way that people communicate. Conversations are personal and they convey context, which helps us to understand each other. In the past, technology was not capable of real human conversation. But with Alexa, voice technology has become common in our homes. Alexa for Business brings the power of Alexa to workplaces. With Alexa for Business, you can voice-enable your conference rooms, initiate common tasks, and place business orders. WeWork uses Alexa for Business to reserve conference rooms, file help tickets, and provide status for meeting rooms. Using Alexa for Business has allowed them to continue to provide unique meeting experiences for their customers.
Chatting with your colleagues, sharing content, and joining meetings on the go using your mobile device is a typical scenario in your workday. Amazon Chime is a communications service that lets you chat, run online meetings, and share content, and its available on Mac, PC, iOS, and Android devices. Amazon Chime works with Alexa for Business, which means you can use Alexa to start and end your meetings with your voice, and ensures you can get to your meetings as quickly as possible. Brooks Brothers uses Amazon Chime to support their global workforce and makes it easy for employees to conduct meetings across many different locations. Implementing Amazon Chime allowed them to retire complex legacy systems, and consolidate down to a single application for their communication and meeting needs.
Organizing and sharing your files in a central location is necessary to ensure effective teamwork and collaboration on your projects. With Amazon WorkDocs, your files are stored centrally on AWS. You can access and share files, provide feedback, and respond to comments, using any web browser or the WorkDocs app from any supported device. This allows you to stay productive even when you’re on the go. For example, when you need to read through feedback on an important document, but you also have school carpool duty that day, you can quickly open the WorkDocs app, find your document and read through the comments while you’re waiting. Conde Nast ’s users span multiple continents, and they need to be able to store and access their files from anywhere in the world. They chose WorkDocs, and they were able to get up and running quickly, with no up-front commitments or long-term contracts.
Email is now an important part of just about any job, but providing email for users can be expensive and complex. This is where Amazon WorkMail can help you. Amazon WorkMail is a secure, managed business email and calendar service with support for existing desktop and mobile email client applications. You have the ability to seamlessly access your email, contacts, and calendars using the client application of your choice, including Microsoft Outlook, native iOS and Android email applications, any client application supporting the IMAP protocol, or directly through a web browser.
