Franz X. Deimbacher has over 25 years oil/gas industry experience and has been with Amazon Web Services since 2017 where he serves as the Head of Technology for Energy based in Houston, TX. Deimbacher has an MSc-degree in Petroleum Engineering and a PhD-degree in Reservoir Engineering. Deimbacher has over 50 professional publications and he holds several patents. He is currently also the VP of the Board of the Society of High-Performance Computing Professionals.
