From startups to enterprises, organizations of all sizes are getting started with generative AI. They want to capitalize on generative AI and translate the momentum from betas, prototypes, and demos into real-world productivity gains and innovations. But what do organizations need to bring generative AI into the enterprise and make it real? When we talk […]

Fine-tune Llama 2 for text generation on Amazon SageMaker JumpStart

Today, we are excited to announce the capability to fine-tune Llama 2 models by Meta using Amazon SageMaker JumpStart. The Llama 2 family of large language models (LLMs) is a collection of pre-trained and fine-tuned generative text models ranging in scale from 7 billion to 70 billion parameters. Fine-tuned LLMs, called Llama-2-chat, are optimized for dialogue use cases.

Announcing the Preview of Amazon SageMaker Profiler: Track and visualize detailed hardware performance data for your model training workloads

Today, we’re pleased to announce the preview of Amazon SageMaker Profiler, a capability of Amazon SageMaker that provides a detailed view into the AWS compute resources provisioned during training deep learning models on SageMaker. With SageMaker Profiler, you can track all activities on CPUs and GPUs, such as CPU and GPU utilizations, kernel runs on GPUs, kernel launches on CPUs, sync operations, memory operations across GPUs, latencies between kernel launches and corresponding runs, and data transfer between CPUs and GPUs. In this post, we walk you through the capabilities of SageMaker Profiler.

Optimize data preparation with new features in Amazon SageMaker Data Wrangler

Data preparation is a critical step in any data-driven project, and having the right tools can greatly enhance operational efficiency. Amazon SageMaker Data Wrangler reduces the time it takes to aggregate and prepare tabular and image data for machine learning (ML) from weeks to minutes. With SageMaker Data Wrangler, you can simplify the process of […]

SageMaker Distribution is now available on Amazon SageMaker Studio

SageMaker Distribution is a pre-built Docker image containing many popular packages for machine learning (ML), data science, and data visualization. This includes deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras; popular Python packages like NumPy, scikit-learn, and pandas; and IDEs like JupyterLab. In addition to this, SageMaker Distribution supports conda, micromamba, and pip as Python […]

Fast-track graph ML with GraphStorm: A new way to solve problems on enterprise-scale graphs

We are excited to announce the open-source release of GraphStorm 0.1, a low-code enterprise graph machine learning (ML) framework to build, train, and deploy graph ML solutions on complex enterprise-scale graphs in days instead of months. With GraphStorm, you can build solutions that directly take into account the structure of relationships or interactions between billions […]

Get started with the open-source Amazon SageMaker Distribution

Data scientists need a consistent and reproducible environment for machine learning (ML) and data science workloads that enables managing dependencies and is secure. AWS Deep Learning Containers already provides pre-built Docker images for training and serving models in common frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and MXNet. To improve this experience, we announced a public beta […]

Announcing the launch of new Hugging Face LLM Inference containers on Amazon SageMaker

This post is co-written with Philipp Schmid and Jeff Boudier from Hugging Face. Today, as part of Amazon Web Services’ partnership with Hugging Face, we are excited to announce the release of a new Hugging Face Deep Learning Container (DLC) for inference with Large Language Models (LLMs). This new Hugging Face LLM DLC is powered […]
