Calling all Media Tech Startups – Apply for Filmologic’s Pitch Night at AWS

Guest post from Filmologic

Are you a media & entertainment startup looking for funding? Don’t miss this opportunity to pitch your company to a panel of expert judges and our audience of industry leaders, execs, and VCs.

On December 6th, Amazon Web Services will be hosting a Startup Pitch Night organized by Filmologic at our Pop-up Loft in San Francisco. The teams will also be able to meet and engage with the AWS  Startup team.

Do you think your startup deserves to win? Fill out this form to be considered (applications due by November 25th):

We are looking for intriguing and creative technical ideas in the entire media and entertainment space – it could be content delivery, animation, games, AR/VR, or any other new way to enjoy or create content.

We know that there is a ton of innovation happening in this space, often from small companies or one-man operations, but it can be hard for these startups to reach the right people for funding, mentorship, or collaboration. We wanted to host this event with Filmologic, a media technology community, to serve as a platform for industry-disrupting ideas.

Together with Filmologic, 5 – 8 entrepreneurs will be selected out of all of the applicants to pitch their company and idea to the judges and audience. Each entrepreneur will get five minutes to pitch, followed by five minutes of judges’ Q&A.

Based on the presentation and the Q&A, the judges will select one company to win. That company will be able to use their prize towards AWS cloud computing products and services to help grow their company and bring their vision to life.

If you aren’t looking to pitch, this event will still be a great opportunity to network and learn about what’s new in the media and entertainment technology industry. So whether you are a seasoned investor, startup entrepreneur, industry expert, or independent professional, join us for an exciting night of making connections and hearing new business ideas.

A big thank you to Filmologic for organizing the event and to Linc for co-sponsoring. We look forward to seeing everyone December 6th!
