AWS EKoSystem Day, Kubernetes Birthday Edition: A Day with the EKS Community

AWS EKoSystem Day New York

from Saptak Sen, Product Manager, Container Services, Amazon Web Services:

Kubernetes is turning three next weekend. To celebrate the upcoming birthday, please join us online or in New York for AWS EKoSytem Day on July 19, 2018, at 10 AM EST.

At the launch of Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (Amazon EKS), more than 25 partners from the AWS and Kubernetes communities announced integrations with EKS from day one. For details, see the list of projects supporting EKS at launch.

For EKoSystem Day, we’ve invited partners from the Kubernetes community to demonstrate how their integration with EKS address real-life customer scenarios spanning DevOps, security, storage, management, and monitoring.

If you’re unable to join us in person in New York, no worries – join us online! All EKoSystem Day demos will be live streamed via

EKoSystem Day continues with a hands-on workshop in the afternoon. Open source engineers from AWS will lead a lab-driven Kubernetes open source workshop demonstrating Kubernetes SIG-AWS community projects in both Amazon EKS and Kubernetes on EC2 environments, and optimizing containers on Amazon Linux 2 (e.g., Docker, ECS and EKS, and AL2 Base Layers).
