Explore large-scale graphs with minimal latency

This Partner Solution deploys NebulaGraph Database to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud. It provides a distributed, scalable, native graph database along with all the components needed to run on AWS. Data scientists and others can use it to explore the customizable NebulaGraph configurations and integrated visualization tools.

  •  What you'll build
  • This Partner Solution sets up the following:

    • A highly available architecture that spans three Availability Zones.*
    • A virtual private cloud (VPC) configured with public and private subnets, according to AWS best practices, to provide you with your own virtual network on AWS.*
    • An internet gateway to allow internet access for bastion hosts (not shown).*
    • A Network Load Balancer for balancing incoming traffic across multiple hosts.*
    • In the public subnets:
      • Managed NAT gateways to allow outbound internet access for resources in the private subnets.*
      • A Linux bastion host to allow inbound SSH (Secure Shell) access to Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances in public and private subnets.*
    • In the private subnets:
      • An online analytical processing (OLAP) and visualization service, which is supported by a Linux workbench host. The NebulaGraph environment tools, such as Explorer, Dashboard, Analytics, and Exchange, are deployed into the workbench host.
      • The NebulaGraph graph service, which is supported by graphd processes. Each graphd process runs in one subnet.
      • The NebulaGraph storage service, which is supported by storaged processes. The storaged processes are distributed in the subnets automatically.
      • An Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) storage volume for EC2 instances in each subnet.

    * The template that deploys the Partner Solution into an existing VPC skips the components marked by asterisks and prompts you for your existing VPC configuration.

  •  How to deploy
  • To deploy this Partner Solution, follow the instructions in the deployment guide, which includes these steps.

    1. Sign in to your AWS account. If you don't have an account, sign up at https://aws.amazon.com
    2. Launch the Partner Solution. The stack takes about 15 minutes to deploy. Before you create the stack, choose the Region from the top toolbar. Choose from the following options:

    Amazon may share user-deployment information with the AWS Partner that collaborated with AWS on this solution.  

  •  Costs and licenses
  • This Partner Solution requires a license for NebulaGraph Enterprise Edition. To use the Partner Solution in a production environment, apply for a license by sending an email to inquiry@vesoft.com.

    When you launch the Partner Solution, place the license key in an Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) bucket and specify its location. If you don’t have a license, the Partner Solution deploys with a trial license. The trial license gives you three days of free usage in a nonproduction environment. After that time, you can upgrade to a production license. For more information, refer to Renew a NebulaGraph Enterprise Edition license.

    You are responsible for the cost of the AWS services and any third-party licenses used while running this solution. There is no additional cost for using the solution.

    This solution includes configuration parameters that you can customize. Some of these settings, such as instance type, affect the cost of deployment. For cost estimates, refer to the pricing pages for each AWS service you use. Prices are subject to change.

    Tip: After you deploy a solution, create AWS Cost and Usage Reports to track associated costs. These reports deliver billing metrics to an Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) bucket in your account.
