Cloudy_Scripts provides a web-service with a convenient user interface that allows you to easily run scripts on EC2. It relieves you from the finicky details of scripting languages. Just enter some parameters and trigger the encryption of entire storage volumes, the conversion of AMIs, or the copy of snapshots across regions. All scripts are based on an open-source library.

Cloudy_Scripts is a service provided by the cloud security expert SecludIT. It leverages the power of the EC2 APIs to support common usecases via an easy web-interface that otherwise could only be realized by scripting and the use of command line tools. All tools are based on an open-source scripting library. The current list of tools include:
  • Encrypt EBS Storage Volume
  • Convert S3 based AMIs to EBS based AMIs
  • Copy Snapshots from one geographical region to another
  • Download Snapshots to a local disk
