Amazon Machine Learning Now Available in EU (Ireland) AWS Region
You can now create machine learning models and obtain predictions with Amazon Machine Learning (Amazon ML) in the AWS EU (Ireland) region. Using Amazon ML in the EU (Ireland) region and accessing your data from Amazon S3 buckets also located in this region, you will not incur data transfer costs. Additionally, when using Amazon ML in the EU(Ireland) region, you can use data stored in Amazon Redshift clusters and Amazon RDS instances that are also hosted in this region. Using Amazon ML in the region that is nearest to your predictive applications may result in lower real-time prediction latencies. Further, availability of Amazon ML in this region may address limitations your organization may have related to data governance restrictions and other data control mandates with dependencies on geographic location.
