AWS Storage Gateway

Our first announcements for today are for AWS Storage Gateway!

AWS Storage Gateway now features High Availability (HA) on VMware and increased performance for Tape and File Gateway.

Amazon S3

We are pleased to announce that Amazon S3 now enables S3 Replication Time Control to provide predictable replication times for new S3 objects, backed by a Service Level Agreement, with associated Amazon CloudWatch metrics!

Amazon EFS

We are excited to announce that Amazon EFS is now available in four new AWS Regions:

  • Middle East (Bahrain)
  • EU (Stockholm)
  • South America (Sao Paulo)
  • Asia Pacific (Hong Kong)

AWS DataSync

Now we would like to announce some AWS DataSync updates!

  • We’re announcing a price reduction of 68% for AWS DataSync effective from November 1, 2019.
  • We’re also adding the ability to schedule data transfers in DataSync.
  • AWS DataSync is now available in five additional Regions: Europe (Stockholm), South America (Sao Paulo), Asia Pacific (Hong Kong), and Asia Pacific (Mumbai), and AWS GovCloud (US-East).
