Verizon Media offers a software-as-a-service platform for over-the-top (OTT) streaming for leading broadcasters and content creators. According to Darren Lepke, head of video product management at Verizon Media, the company built its platform and video offerings on top of an Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure from the very beginning. "We use many different services that AWS has to offer from compute, to storage, to pretty much anything under the sun that it takes to run a large-scale live streaming business," says Lepke.
