On December 1, 2020, Amazon Web Services Korea LLC ("AWS Korea LLC") replaced Amazon Web Services, Inc. ("AWS Inc.") as the AWS cloud services seller for AWS accounts located in South Korea. After December 1, 2020, Amazon Web Services Korea LLC will issue either Value Added Tax (VAT) invoices or credit card payment slips on all cloud services provided to South Korea accounts.

For services Korean customers purchase through the AWS Marketplace and AMCS LLC telecommunication services, AWS Inc. will continue to issue invoices. If you are a VAT registered business, you must enter your Tax Registration Number (TRN) on the Tax Settings page of the AWS billing console, otherwise VAT will be charged by AWS Inc. If you are a tax-exempt business and have provided your TRN, please continue to self-account for Korean VAT.

AWS Training and AWS Professional Services continue to be provided by AWS Korea LLC.
