Keynote - A leader’s guide to generative AI: Using history to shape the future

Hear from global and local AWS executives, alongside some of our region's most successful customers, as they showcase the innovative ways companies are leveraging the power of AWS to revolutionise financial services.

Phil Le-Brun, AWS Enterprise Strategist, will provide insights into why Generative AI has become a point of focus globally for financial services institutions. Scalability of the cloud, a massive proliferation of data, and the rapid advancement of ML technologies have positioned AI for wide-scale adoption.

History, however, has taught us that realising the value of transformational technologies isn’t always a linear process. It requires leadership, cultural shift, operating model changes, and investments in new skills. Phil will share lessons learned from past major technological shifts, how leaders can apply them to generative AI, and the differentiated approach that AWS is taking to democratise generative AI.

Keynote Speakers:
Rianne van Veldhuizen, Managing Director, Australia & New Zealand, AWS
Laurence Thiery, Head of Financial Services APJ, AWS
Phil Le-Brun, AWS Global Enterprise Strategist and former international CIO of McDonald's Corporation
Lisa Frazier, COO, Judo Bank
