Who should attend AWS Summit Berlin?
Whether you’re an AWS enthusiast or a brand new user, there’s something for everyone at the AWS Summit Berlin. Our wide variety of sessions are designed to help all levels of AWS user connect, collaborate and learn.
All AWS Summits feature a keynote address highlighting the latest announcements and customer testimonials, technical sessions led by AWS engineers, and hands-on technical training. You will learn best practices for deploying applications on AWS, optimizing performance, monitoring cloud resources, managing security, cutting costs, and more. You will also have opportunities to meet AWS staff and partners to get your technical questions answered.

What is included in AWS Summit Berlin registration?
AWS Summit Berlin registration gives you access to the keynote, all breakout sessions, the Partner Solutions Expo and closing reception. Drinks and meals offered during the day.

Where is my confirmation email?
If you have registered, you should receive a confirmation email shortly after registering. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder. Once you have checked your spam folder, if you still haven't received your confirmation email, please contact us.

To make changes to your registration, edit your account. For any other questions related to registration or the AWS Summit Berlin 2023, contact us.

What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your AWS Summit Berlin registration by updating your account.

How is session attendance managed?
Onsite at AWS Summit Berlin, sessions will be filled on a first-come first-seated basis. We recommend you use the AWS Summit Berlin mobile app to help organize your day, and allow plenty of time to navigate between rooms. Download the mobile app for Android or IOS.
For the keynote, there are only 3,000 seats in the Keynote Hall which will be filled at a first-come, first-seated basis. If you can't get a seat there, the keynote will be streamed in any of the breakout session rooms.

How do I check in at AWS Summit Berlin?
To collect your AWS Summit Berlin event badge, you will need the QR code from your confirmation email as well as a government issued photo ID. A reminder of this will be sent closer to the event.

Is there a lost & found onsite?
You found something? Or lost anything? You will get any lost & found information at the AWS Helpdesk (located between Partner Expo and Keynote Hall).

Is there a wardrobe and luggage storage onsite?
Yes, you will find a wardrobe & luggage storage on site.

What do I need for the workshops?
If you are taking part in a workshop please remember to bring your laptop, charger and any external devices you may require. Please note, you must bring a laptop and not a tablet, with WiFi networking (not wired networking). If you're using a corporate laptop please ensure that it can connect via WiFi and doesn't require wired networking.

Is there an AWS Summit Berlin app?
The AWS Events app will be available to download one week before the event and will allow you to view all sessions taking place, manage your calendar for the day of the event and more. More details will be share with registered attendees closer to the time.

What accessibility accommodations are available?
The AWS Summit Berlin venue, STATION Berlin, has been designed to make everyone’s visit as productive and comfortable as possible. If you need additional assistance or have accommodation requests, please contact us at least one week prior to the event. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodations.

What special dietary requirements are accommodated?
Vegetarian / Vegan options are labelled at lunch. Please ask us for gluten free, Halal or Kosher food options.

Do you require those attending the AWS Summit Berlin to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19?
No. Badge holders at Berlin Summit are not required to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19.

No. Masks are not required.

Will I be required to maintain safe distancing from other attendees?
Safe distancing is not required between individuals or between groups.

What happens if I (or someone else) test positive for COVID-19 during or following the AWS Summit Berlin?
If you test positive for COVID-19, please follow guidance provided by the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Senate Chancellery for testing, isolation, masking, distancing, and seeking medical guidance.
Please follow case reporting guidance from the relevant public health department. More information can be found on the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Senate Chancellery. If a positive COVID-19 diagnosis is disclosed to AWS during Berlin Summit, we will suspend your in-person participation at the event and issue a full refund, if applicable.

If you offer to have your badge scanned by a sponsor or at a sponsor-branded session, you are requesting AWS share your name, contact information, title, and company with that sponsor so it may contact you by email, phone, and post for marketing purposes.
