Q: Who should attend AWS Summit Berlin?
A: Whether you are new to the cloud or an experienced user, you will learn something new at the AWS Summit. These events, held around the world, are designed to educate new customers about the AWS platform and offer existing customers deep technical content to be more successful with AWS.
All AWS Summits feature a keynote address highlighting the latest announcements and customer testimonials, technical sessions led by AWS engineers, and hands-on technical training. You will learn best practices for deploying applications on AWS, optimizing performance, monitoring cloud resources, managing security, cutting costs, and more. You will also have opportunities to meet AWS staff and partners to get your technical questions answered.
Q: What is the conference agenda?

Content on February 26 is focused on providing an overview of AWS services and features as well as best practices, details of service features and demos with the assumption that attendees are new or have introductory knowledge of the topics. [Level 100-200]
Content on February 27 will dive deeper into the selected topic. Sessions are for attendees who may have implemented a solution on their own already, and are comfortable with how the technology works across multiple services, architectures, and implementations. [Level 300-400]
Q: Will the sessions be in English or German language?
A: All sessions will be in English since our audience is coming from various countries across the globe and we want to make sure everybody can follow.
Q: Do you accept submissions for speakers/session ideas?
A: At this time, we do not accept submissions for AWS Summit speakers or session content although we always appreciate customer feedback.
Q: Can I stop by onsite without being registered?
A: Due to the high demand for AWS Summit Berlin 2019, we do not grant access to walk-ins with no upfront registration at the event venue. Thank you for your understanding!
Q: Where is my confirmation email?
A: If you have registered, you should receive a confirmation email shortly after registering. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam folder. Once you have checked your spam folder, if you still haven't received your confirmation email, please contact us.
Q: What is included in Summit registration?
A: Summit registration gives you access to the keynote, all breakout sessions, the Partner Solutions Expo and closing reception. Meals offered include lunch and snacks.
Q: What is the price of registration?
A: Registration for the AWS Summit Berlin is free.
Q: How do I update my registration information?
A: To update your registration information please contact us.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: You may cancel your Summit registration by contacting us. Note, we will go ahead and cancel your ticket, but we will not confirm your cancellation by email.
Q: Will I need to register myself for each breakout session?
A: Onsite at the AWS Summit, breakout sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-seated basis. As seats are not guaranteed, there is no need to pre-register. However, we recommend taking advantage of the scheduling tools on AWS Summit mobile app to help you organize your day.

Q: What accessibility accommodations are available?
A: The AWS Summit Berlin venue, STATION Berlin, has been designed to make everyone’s visit as productive and comfortable as possible. You can read more about the facility’s accessibility here. Unfortunately, at this time, Hall 5 and the Symposium are not weelchair accessible. If you need additional assistance or have accommodation requests, please contact us at least one week prior to the event. Every effort will be made to provide reasonable accommodations.

A: Vegetarian and limited gluten free options are available and labelled at lunch.
