About AWS Summit

What is an AWS Summit?
AWS Summits Americas are regional events designed to bring together the cloud computing community to connect, collaborate, and learn about AWS. Summits are held in major cities around North and South America and attract technologist from multiple industries, segments, and learning levels who want to learn how AWS can help them innovate with speed and deliver services with scale, flexibility, and reliability.

Is there a virtual component of the AWS Summit?
Yes. The keynote will also be available via livestream at 9:00 AM – 10:30AM PDT on April 21, 2022. Please note that breakout sessions and other general sessions will only be available in-person.

Where will the AWS Summit San Francisco take place?
The in-person event will take place at Moscone Center South located at 747 Howard St, San Francisco, CA 94103.
What do I need for event check in?
Does my registration guarantee me access to the event and event activities?
Space is limited. To ensure the best attendee experience possible, access to the event or specific event activities such as keynote, breakout sessions, labs, meals, receptions, and lounges may be limited due to capacity restrictions.
What food will be available onsite for those with dietary restrictions?

How can I take Public Transportation to Moscone Center?
BART offers fast, convenient regional service and MUNI Metro provides light rail service throughout the City. To reach Moscone North & South, take BART or MUNI to Montgomery station.
Caltrain offers a frequent schedule into the nearby station at 4th & Townsend Streets. All of these stations are within a few minutes' walk of The Moscone Center.
Ferries offer transport between San Francisco and cities located across the San Francisco Bay's waters. The San Francisco Bay Ferry provides weekday, weekend, holiday, and seasonal services to nine terminal locations around the Bay including Alameda, Oakland, and Vallejo. From San Francisco's Ferry Terminal riders can connect to surface and subway options taking them to The Moscone Center.

What health measure are in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19?
All badge holders must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to checking in at the event. Fully vaccinated is defined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as 2 weeks after a second dose in a 2-dose series such as the Pfizer, Moderna, or AstraZeneca vaccines or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

How do I request accessibility services?

Are Reflection Rooms available?
Yes. The Reflection Rooms are designed to provide a quiet space for meditation, yoga, prayer, or just a break from the crowd.
Are Lactation Rooms available?
Yes. The Lactation Rooms are designed to provide lactating parents with a private, secure space to breastfeed or express breast milk for their nursing child. The spaces are equipped with lockers, cold packs, wipes, and comfy chairs. You can reserve time for the week at the check-in desks outside the rooms.
Are there all-gender restrooms onsite?
Yes. All-gender restrooms will be available.
